Tom Bewick joined leading representatives of Tayside's creative and media industries, to discuss how the UK Creative & Cultural sector might develop its links between Industry and both Higher and Further Education.
The fact-finding mission to see how Abertay works with industry saw Tom and Professor Mike Thorne, Vice chancellor of East London University, visit the university's research and consultancy centre and Embreonix graduate business incubator unit.
Tayside's rapidly growing creative industries are now a key part of the regional economy. Their success in developing the links between industry and education places them in a model position for others to follow.
